Rabbi Yehuda and Laurie Minchenberg have been SINAI parents for over 13 years. They have three children at SINAI who each work to overcome different types of challenges, but all three of them have learned from their parents to try their hardest, and always to show hakarat haTov, gratitude, to the people in their lives. Rabbi Minchenberg is a well liked Rebbe at Yeshivat Noam, where he has taught for 13 years, following ten years at Ashar. He has worked at Camp Regesh for over 25 years, gives regular shiurim in Passaic and Bergenfield to elementary and middle school students, and is in high demand to teach boys for their Bar Mitzvah. Laurie works as an aide for Essex Regional Education Services Commission, providing support to classified students in YBH who need extra support. She always has a smile on her face, and considers it a zechus and privilege to support her husband’s role as a teacher of Torah by taking the lead role in maintaining their extraordinarily busy household.
Both Rabbi Minchenberg and Laurie often write articles on parenting children with special needs. They are members of the Aguda in Passaic and are beloved by everyone who knows them. The Minchenbergs are so grateful to Hashem and incredibly proud of the accomplishments of all six of their wonderful children: Asher, Tuvia, Shmuel, Zev, Devorah, and Mordechai.
